This is a very sturdy, well built ladder. If I were in my late 20's early 30's maybe useable. To unlatch the steps, it is important to start with the bottom steps and leave the top compressed if you are not using the full length of the ladder. But, it is difficult to make sure the bottom steps are latched. When climbing the ladder holding on to whatever equipment one needs for the job, one is actually taking an 18" step up, and that is not all that easy to do. The US standard of 12" makes an easy climb for many jobs.I had to return this ladder, as I could not climb up ladder with equipment.

Love this ladder for use in multiple situations where a taller or shorter stationary ladder isn't needed. I've used mine several times already; very easy to use and nicely portable. I love that it comes with two self-aligning feet making it very secure and stable. Be aware, it's not super lightweight and doesn't have a carry handle, but it's still much easier to carry around than a 6 foot step ladder or 16 foot extension ladder! Extends to the height you want easily, locks in place securely, and collapses to a compact size without much effort. A great ladder to have for any homeowner!

I got this because my other latter is bulky and a pain to carry. This works great! A little sketchy if you’re closer to the top it feels like it might bend in half but it won’t!

I needed a ladder to help access my attic that’s in my small closet. The 18 inch footprint of the ladder is perfect for that. The aluminum structure seems solid. The stability of the ladder is sufficient for what I needed it for. It telescopes all the way up into my attic space when fully extended to its 10 1/2 foot max. The laches don’t lock as solidly as I’d like. You really seem to have to pull up hard to get them to lock on the upper rungs. They don’t seem like they’ll hold up for the long haul. We will see. You also need to be careful you don’t smash a finger when unlocking the latches to collapse it. The directions say to keep your fingers from between the rungs. The latches can hang up so that’s tough to do sometimes. I recommend you lay the ladder down when collapsing it to eliminate this from happening. Remove gravity from the equation. I just caught the edge of one of my fingers. Ouch! This is probably a heads up no matter what brand of telescopic ladder you buy.

This telescopic ladder extends pretty easily. It is fairly easy to carry. It does well at medium heights, I is a bit shaky at full height. I find it uncomfortable. Shorter ladders of this type seem to be better.

Took it out of the box on 11/30 to put up Holiday wreaths. Rated for 20’ and 330lbs the first one 12’ over the garage was a little wobbly should have been my first clue, a lot of bowing. The next one a little higher 15’ made it where I needed to be then crack and I’m down on the ground, thankfully I landed on fresh mulch and not concrete pavers on the other side of the ladder, banged up hand, popped my knee, and to top it off wife broke a nail as she was bracing the bottom of ladder (another excuse for a nail appointment ! ). I would never recommend this type of ladder. Amazon was quick to refund my purchase the same day, there was no way to send it back as it would not collapse back down to normal height.

I do have a long ladder in the garage, but it’s heavy and hanging on the wall.I hate to grab it from the wall and moving out from the garage,BTW,my garage is detached. I saw this type of ladder when a worker came for cleaning the gutters. That’s nice.It can be hid in the closet and easy to extend.Definitely great!
