I have a Red Jam Block which is bigger and has a deeper tone than this Blue Block. I have both of them mounted staggered on each other on my High Hat Rod. Great two different pitches for Jazz or Latin music. Good Mounting clamps and material is very durable for the price.

This is just what I was looking for to complete my marching quints setup. I'm knocking off a star because it appears to be previously used, as suggested by the small gouges in the bottom.

Comes with self-clamping. Provides clave sound. I use with modified cajon kit. With practice you can even use the higher pitch in center of plastic block to imitate rim shot of snare drum at soft volume.

This generic brand product does work as described, although I got a name brand LP (Latin Percussion) jam block also and the difference I see is that the LP has a much larger sweet spot for good sound. This item does sound good, but the sweet spot is harder to hit every time, whereas the LP has a bigger sweet spot and sounds a bit better, in terms of sharp cutting jam block sound.

Al chile no le pide nada al mismo block de latin percussion. Suenan exactamente igual a 1/3 del costo, solo porque no tiene un logo impreso.
