Seems great to store hard boiled eggs in the refrigerator. Bet this would fit an extra big jumbo sized chicken egg. I like the construction, but ours came with one of the two plastic hinges on the back broken. Don't know how it will hold up over time, but we like it. Easier to see the contents than standard plastic containers.

This product is very nice. It is made of crystal clear sturdy plastic that has held up over time. It protects eggs well and clasps tightly. I would definitely buy it again.

I bought this after the Coughlan's egg carrier came to me broken, due to a weakly designed closure. This isn't perfect, but given the range of egg sizes, a universal holder would be difficult to make. This does snap closed more securely and is far less likely to break than the Coughlan. The egg-shaped depressions are on the large side, but a paper towel placed beneath the holes will close the gap and better insulate the eggs from breaking. We transported eggs in a backpack while biking to work and they did not break. Recommended.

I love how sturdy this case is, and fits extra large eggs. I did some research, and some cases will only fit smaller eggs.Having said, I had smaller (large) eggs in this case and the case fell out of the fridge after a rough driving day. One egg did crack. So, if you have smaller eggs they will knock about.Otherwise this case is very sturdy. I'll place a paper towel or 2 in the case for cushion if I buy smaller eggs next time.

Update: Its been nearly 2 years since I purchased these containers and they are still holding strong! For those who say they are flimsy, well I completely disagree! I use these daily and they are excellent! I would recommend these for use in RV or smaller fridge with limited shelf space.Original review: These 6-egg containers are made of plastic, not the thinnest but also not super thick. They are easy to open but also secure in the closure. I like that these containers are stackable which is great if you have vertical space in your fridge. I purchased two of these for my rv fridge, and liked them so much I just ordered two more! These are great. So much better than the store containers. My issue with store containers: cardboard/paper ones can get wet in the fridge (which happens sometimes from condensation especially in RV), the dozen containers are too long for my compact fridge, and the plastic containers are flimsy. These are the perfect solution to my egg storage needs.

This is rubbish, don’t bother. Poor quality, on first opening it broke and the lid kept falling off. I bought this for a camping trip, put my eggs in it, the lid fell off and my car ended up covered in egg which I had to pay to get cleaned. This was day 1 of the trip, I ended up binning it there and then as it was such a waist of money and time as I didn’t want to carry it around with me for two weeks.
