The item is exactly as pictured. Color or texture of material may appear slightly different from studio lit product imagery.The shell is 100% polyester and looks like thin-medium canvas from an external view. The material feels durable and is scratchy sounding when moved.The zip fasteners are SBS branded, with black elements which complement the color of the polyester shell. The slider is aluminum colored, making it stand out and easy to see for quick access.The sliders are complete with the JanSport ‘JS’ product branding on either side.Overall feel of the zip fasteners is smooth, although the overhanging fabric meant to protect the mechanism can often get in the way.2/3 of the sliders come with black string tied to them, making it easier to slide the fastener this way.Interior is padded white with monochrome JanSport pattern all over design. The laptop pouch is a nice addition which separates it from the regular Superbreak, but the elastic band which holds the laptop in place feels weak as if it won’t last.There are 3 manufacturer tags within the bag accompanied by JanSport reflective foil tag showcasing the Seattle skyline along with the words ‘adventure’. The back of the tag features a scannable QR code that directs you to the official JanSport website.Front small pouch featuring pen holders and a small pouch for misc items.Shoulder straps are thick and firm, felt cheap at first but they grow on you with use. Extremely comfortable.Cupholder on left side of bag, elastic strap that automatically adjusts in size depending on the size of cup you put in it.-Overall great item for the price, a great JanSport product. Fabric and zip fasteners could use improvements.

I purchased this Jansport backpack for my daughter who is going into high school. It is very good quality, has back/ lumbar support and padded adjustable straps. There are lots of extra pockets for storing her smaller items as well. It will hold all of her supplies easily and is perfect for use for school as well as weekend packing for sleepovers and trips to the mall.
