I ordered these not to use as a chopstick rest but to give as mementos to friends about something we had shared. They are lovely and serve the intended purpose with grace. Very sturdy with great heft, so would make a good rest if that is what you want!

They all arrived with no damage or chips. I can use these to hold chopsticks and paint brushes. They keep the tips off the desk.
