It did the job but it didn't keep its sharpness. I do still use at some places around the house. I should have spent more for a heavy duty pair.

I have small hands but I found these grass shears very easy to use with no strain. They cut cleanly through a thick growth of grass and weeds, and you can use them both horizontally and vertically. The bright yellow handles make it easy to find the shears when you put them down in the grass and the safety lock is a nice touch.

There is nothing I have found that I disliked. They are "very" sharp and snips the grass around bushes great. Good value for the money.

This shears is sharp and I like that it has a safety lock. It's easy to use and does a good job of high grass that's not easy to cut with a power cutter. It is a good buy.

These are very awkward to manipulate and squeeze. I have used them, so can't return them, but I do not recommend. Revised review: it's been 2 weeks and the blades are no longer sharp enough to trim the grass. Don't buy these. Complete waste of money

I used the shears once so far around edges of garden beds where the lawn mower cannot reach. If you cut small portions of grass they work quite well, but thicker portions of grass cannot be handled and it gets stuck. It also seems a little flimsy around the screw, so I am not too sure how long it will last and how long the shears stay sharp. Overall, the price was really okay and I have seen many more much expensive tools. Would recommend for occasional use of small portions of the yard, not necessarily for everyday use or larger areas that need trimming.
