Tips:
- This red button is molded by the original BMW button. When the material is injected into the mold,it does have a tiny contraction point when the material cools and shrinks, which is normal and unavoidable.
- However,the tiny dimple is below the side of the button, and when the button is installed, it will be hidden.And your stop start button will be decorated with beautiful color.

The lettering on my 18 year old black stop/start button was wearing off so I decided to replace it with the red one offered on Amazon. Fits just like the original and looks great.

I used the included sticky putty to pull the old worn switch. It takes a quick, moderate jerk and a few attempts. Installation is simple. Just align it and push it in firmly. The backlight allows just the right amount of light through. Very high quality - I understand now why it was a bit expensive. It is a very accurate piece and has multiple layers of plastic. Great value!

Just installed the start stop button and couldn’t be happier. So happy with the quality the lettering and finish are perfect. I still need to install the M1 and M2 button but I’m sure they will looks great when installed. Highly recommend!!!

I like the fact that it does improve the looks of my interior even if this is just a small mod. Also the finish and texture of the material is nice and smooth. And it added like 10 horsepower.....(just kidding)However, the factory switch is not as easy to pop out like they claim/show in the photos. The adhesive that they include is pretty much useless unless your factory button is really loose. So i ended up taking the whole switch assembly out. Its fairly easy to do it just take some patience. And there is a Youtube video for it that you can follow how to.

Installed on an X3 2018 and took like 1 min to get the old button out and replace with the new red one fits and looks great!

Pleasantly surprised at how great this is. Holding this and the original BMW start button in the same hand and you can't tell any difference between them (except the colour of course!)
