I started using these curved scissors because my older dog is wiggly and hates to be groomed - like bits the shaver hates. Like anything that resembles grooming is his mortal enemy. These help me keep him from getting his skin nicked or hurt and I can angle them away from him while still getting the bangs he insists on having out of his eyes. I've also found that they help when cleaning up the fur in his paw pads, well when I can keep his foot still long enough to trim them out. I swear that do would rather look like a mop - all 12 lbs of him. Anyhow, these are some of the best dog wrangling scissors I've used and would highly recommend them for quick cleanups, matt trimming, and any other dog grooming needs you may have.

I bought these scissors over two years ago and they remain sharp and high quality, despite regularly using on my 60 lb dog's thick hair. These are the best scissors I have found on Amazon at this price.

Very happy with these. Have a Labrador Retriever with lots of hair. Use Wahl animal power clippers once or twice a year for over all shortening during the fall and early spring (we hike a lot and her hair picks up everything). I don't like to mess with her 2-coat system much (undercoat and top hair) so during the spring and summer I do some touch ups on hair that isn't shedding as fast. These work well - everything comes out looking even (and I suck at this usually). I can get her back leg hair, neck hair and the excess hair behind her ears so well with these. (Watched a video on YouTube with a professional using something similar but costing over $100.) Thought I would try these - and I am pleasantly happy for the price, quality, and the finished look on my dog!

These thinners are pretty nice for the price they are. They work great for me in the grooming room when the dog has clean and mat/tangle-free fur. I wouldn't recommend using them on dogs with thicker fur or for for thinning out a mat.Overall, this is a good pair of thinners when doing touch ups on clean fur, but isn't easy to work with when it comes to more heavy-duty work. For that I think this is a good value for these sheers.

I have multiple dogs whose coats I have to keep up with. Two are outside working dogs whose coats are often dirty and they get tangles. These scissors are great. They will cut any hair and the dirt doesn't hold them back! They came quickly and I would recommend!

These had good reviews, so I ordered a pair. They worked okay a couple of times, but seemed like they pulled the hair some. The next time I tried to use them, the blades would not close. I loosened the screw and they still would not close. I scanned the QR code that came with them and it leads to a youtube video that is not in English. I found some suggestions about forcing the blades past each other by applying pressure with the fingers in the handle in opposing directions. This did not work. I loosened the screw some more, but then the blades came all the way loose. If the screw is too loose, the handle doesn't "drop" correctly when testing for the proper tension.Tried to contact Jason without luck. Contacted Amazon and they are no help in getting a resolution. I bought some Hashimotos and they are excellent. I wish I had just bought them first.

I bought these expecting them to be the usual "okay" quality - I was wrong! They have a good weight, are quiet, are wicked sharp. I don't know how long they will remain sharp, but they feel like really nice quality shears! On par with my 100.00 shears. I groom part time, and didn't want something crazy expensive.10/10 would recommend!
