These are advertised for use on bins, and they are perfect for that. You can replace the 3X5 card when you need to relabel a bin.I, however, use them in books. I like to have a few 3X5 cards handy for notes. I can slip five or six 3X5 cards in these pockets. I also use them in notebooks, but I have to put them on the outside because they'll cause a bump I don't like to write over.Because these are thin plastic, and they are slightly larger than 3X5, you will need to be careful as you pull them off their backing and as you lay them on the surface where you want them. Otherwise, they will bunch up and make a mess. With a little caution, however, these are easy to use.The price on these is great.

They work perfectly for my labeling needs. They adhere well to plastic but can also be removed. I'll certainly order more in the future.
