I love how this kit sounds the only complaint i have is it doesn’t come with screws or any hardware for the tweeters or woofers like the manual says .

#rd vehicle i have outfitted with JBL GTO series speakers. Sounds great, very clear. Became more enhance sounds with some speaker baffles because of the size of the door cavity. 2002 Silverado Ext Cab. I have the 4x6 speakers in the back as well. Great quality all around as usual.

I do love JBL and everything they have to offer, however, these speakers are not good for abuse, been through 2 sets, having them tuned correctly and using high pass filters at 80hz. Running on an Alpine S-32a amp. If you are going to invest in this set be sure your tune is on point and use your high pass filters between 60 to 80hz, and do not expect to blast these all of the time. Aside from that they are crisp and the mid bass is exceptionally good. I will add that you won’t have a good time using these if you aren’t pushing quality amp, me personally stick with JBL and Alpine, they like clean raw power, TARAMPS and the cheaper brands will burn these speakers before they’ll do any good.

Like the sound quality of these speakers only with the factory head unit. Next step, the addition of 2 amps and a sub, witch I have.

It would be an excellent speaker for the front door unless you have the factory radio has at least 50 to 60W RMS because it lacks bass with the car's factory stereo which has 25W RMS. I have upgraded these speakers to the front door on my 2014 Ford Fiesta and it sounds decent with okay bass. I am planning to upgrade with a 4 channel amplifier and will share my feedback later.The installation of the crossover was not as easy as I thought.. as it doesn't stick on the door unless the door surface is flat.
