First off, this comes with 2 speakers not 1. (I don't think it's stated clearly anywhere, just as other have said.) The install was a breeze, I would recommend wiring the speaker before placing it in ceiling. I configured these as 8-Ohm driven by a small Fosi Audio BT amp. Keep in mind these speakers are 20W@8 Ohm. I used a smaller 16 gauge wire for the speaker about 5 feet way from the amp and a 12 gauge wire for a speaker 10+ feet away (really doubt I needed to vary the gauge). The speakers are decent for background music but definitely not something you'd crank up for a party (nor is it the intended use.) For my use, it fills the office with music with clear highs and mids.

Shipping was fast. Package arrived fine no damage but when I opened the box and pulled out the speakers I could see that one speaker was horribly bent. Bought 3 of these and 2 were bent although the box was fine. Needed these asap for a job so had to bend them back myself. Even after trying to bend them back they don't fit perfectly like the others that weren't bent. Buyer beware, open and check them asap and return if you can.

These worked great for a 70v system pumping white noise and music when wanted. They were a breeze to install vs having to cut a hole in a ceiling grid.
