I've had them on my 2016 Tundra for 1 yrs now. They are super bright and make a huge difference without any complaints. I couldn't really see with tinted windows using the OEM bulbs. But with these bright LEDs, it's a very nice upgrade making it so much better backing up with tinted windows.

I bought and installed these on a Ford Ranger, and Lexus ES350. Got these for a Crosstrek. These make A HUGE difference in visibility. The regular incandescent bulbs are dark compared to these. Bright white light and the backup camera works better because of it. The Ranger doesn't have a camera and this helps even more when it's pitch black out. You can see details not possible with the OEM bulb. Plus, others can definitely see you being up (see comparison photo)! Your car lens reflectors will affect how brilliantly the light performs in your application, but it worked for me. Helps me not too roll over the grass and plants backing out of driveway at night. It's crazy how effective these are compared to OEM and other cheaper bulbs. I searched for this company's bulbs each time I was in the market for them because of their performance. Be careful, if you search for this manufacturer's bulbs it might tell you another part number is correct for the Crosstrek. When I bought it, they had the wrong part number and sent the wrong thing. It didn't fit. The correct part is #7440. Amazon says it's not correct, but it is. Hopefully it gets fixed so people don't keep buying the wrong part and returning it.

My new-to-me 2014 Prius is a model 2, so no backup camera, UGH. I realized I can't see a THING when reversing.I replaced the stock incandescent bulbs with these, and even in full sunlight, the backup lenses are almost blindingly bright. I couldn't wait to go to work so I could see backing out of my driveway. Unfortunately, for me, they made NO difference. Your mileage may vary. It seems on the Toyota Prius, the reverse lights are simply to let others know you're backing up. The Lenses just scatter the light. So while looking at them, the entire Lens is filled with INTENSE light. Yet very little of this light goes anywhere useful. Backed up near the garage door confirms it. The whole door is pretty well lit. There are no beams of light, and nothing angled down toward the street. I'm sure this is not a fault of the bulb, but the lens housing that reflects the light. The lens is made of what looks like a bunch of little square mirrors. The trouble is, none of those mirrors actually focus the light in any specific spot. If Toyota thought everyone would opt for the backup camera, they should have made it standard. Now I will need to replace the head unit with an upgrade that gives me all the nifty new features. I'm all for that, but $17 for a set of bulbs is a much easier pill to swallow than a few hundred dollar head unit. I'm not looking forward to running a video cable from the hatchback lid to the front of the car either. Replacing the head unit and installing/connecting all the accessories is a job I'd prefer to leave to the pros. These LED bulbs are extremely, super insanely, bright. Thew longevity remains to be seen. I would also imagine with the number of chips on these they must get pretty hot. I would not attempt to use them as DRL's or any application where they are on for more than a few minutes tops. My guess is they'll burn themselves out quickly. Used as directed, with a reflector that actually focuses the light, the result should be nothing short of amazing. In my case, all they'll do is say I'm in reverse, heading toward you, close your eyes and brace for impact! The closing of the eyes will be involuntary. I could have completed my LED conversion for much less by selecting a more standard 7440 LED bulb, but again, it's not JDM's fault. They produced a product that performs exactly as claimed.

These bad boys work exactly as advertised and they make a very noticeable difference right away, the increased brightness is much more noticeable when you are way out somewhere where they are not street lights around. Backing up in a fairly well lit parking lot for example there really is not much of a noticeable difference over stock bulbs, then again you can already see behind you anyway because of the street lights overhead. However if you are out in the boonies say in someone's driveway or on a dark back road these bulbs light up the area behind your car light its daylight, it really is a huge improvement over incandescent light bulbs. I do wish the light traveled a little farther though, even with the projector on the end of the bulb they do not have much range to them. But for the low price and the fact they plug right into the stock socket and easily fit into the housing with no alterations at all as advertised I cannot really complain too much, if I want to really go crazy I'll get some LED flood/spot lights and wire them into my reverse lights. I have recommended them to several people since installing them and plan to order bulbs for my tail/brake lights and turn signals as well. I cannot speak to the longevity of the bulbs yet since I have only had them for about a month or so, if anything changes I will update at a later time.

Recently as we backed out of our garage at 5:30 am, I looked back as we were backing up and I could hardly see anything. I then relied upon the reverse camera. The camera worked okay but lacked definition. Once I got home I started looking at LED reverse lights that were the highest rated and recommended. After watching some happy customers on some videos, and also reading numerous reviews on Amazon, I decided to get these.Man am I so happy I bought these. They are extremely bright and very easy to install. The first picture is inside the garage with the OEM Halogen reverse lights in my 2015 Mazda 3 Hatch Sport Grand Touring 2.5L. The second picture is with these LED bulbs in. The third and forth pictures show how bright these JDM LED are.I highly recommend these LED bulbs. Delivery came in less than 24 hours...simply amazing. Then to install these within 5 min...too easy. Very Happy with my purchase. Will buy some for my daughters 2020 Kia Soul and my son 2006 Toyota Corolla.

Works great as running lights in my 2021 Jeep JL Wrangler! Direct plug and play my halogen bulbs and gave the front end a new look when accompanied by their other products for the LED Light swaps!

Bought these for a scion tc. They arrived a week earlier than expected. I was so excited to open the package, I actually dropped the lights directly onto the pavement. These lights are built solid! I was afraid that I damaged them but they are extremely well built! After installing them all I can say is that they are almost TOO bright hahaha! They are amazing and light up my neighborhood when I reverse. The color is pure white, no hint of blue, no hint of yellow. Just white.Buy these lights, you won't regret it.I am so happy with the results and I plan on buying all my lights from this seller in the future.:)

I can actually see when I'm reversing now. WHOOO! Improved safety. Very bright. Highly recommend. Just make sure you plug them in the right way, polarity matters.

As easy to install as an oem bulb but this led bulb is much longer. Still, it just fits in 2012 Honda CRV for reverse lights. Purchased 2 on Oct. 26, 2015 and 1 bulb failed on Nov. 25, 2019. So 4 years, I guess not too bad. I'll have to replace both now anyway. You will have to decide whether the price is worth it for you. These are about 3.5X the price after shipping compared to grabbing halogen ones at CT.On the plus side, they are super bright so in terms of safety these win hands down.
