I am a guy and I know nothing about sewing buttons on pants. My button on my pants came off after about a year of owning them, and I purchased these buttons because they did not require needle and thread. There are several different sizes, and I found the right size, put it on and used the screwdrive to fasten the back on it and it worked perfectly. I was surprised at how easy it was to use.

I lost my jeans bottom! Replaced it with these! It is super easy to screw on the jeans and good size! I would just recommend to screw it firmly once in a while.

These are super easy to put into your jeans either to replace a missing sew-in button or to expand the waist line by positioning the button to the edge of the fly-waist line intersection. I used them in pants and jackets. They have a good selection of button designs and the snap in connector is "fool-proof".

Rivet-style button popped off my favorite denim jeans. As a "sewist," I knew I could probably fix it with the same type but might have to patch the denim to cover the old rivet hole. I figured Amazon might have a better idea, and these seemed to fit the bill. What I did not realize is that the screw-style backer is actually very tiny. In the main item photo, it seems to show the fronts of the buttons next to a like-sized back piece, but they are actually separate buttons. If you look at other pics you can see the tiny screw backer. I will keep them for future use with the knowledge of this limitation. For the current job, maybe I can use a very thin washer or piece of plastic between the front button and the backer screw, behind the existing hole, so the screw doesn't pull through the hole. Or figure something else out...

Just as advertised, fabulous for re-sizing pants that are a bit too loose. You get plenty in the box (various finishes) and a small tool to help secure the buttons.
