Had to grind the jaw tips in a little so they would fit between the rollers in the links but the puller works great. Haven’t used the cutter yet but both tools look and feel of good material and quality.

Worked just as needed for pulling the slack out of the chain and then held the chain in place for me to easily make I wish I'd had this tool years ago, always struggled to make chain connections, especially with the larger size chains. This puller is a lot more robust than I expected, it is a very well built tool. I had seen reviews that expressed issues with the threads stripping, those people must be trying to stretch the chain, not pull the slack out. Priced right, good bargain.

This tool exceeded my expectations. I have used it over 100 times on #60 chain and it has not had a single issue! I highly recommend it, especially at the price.

For the price point, it’s much better than you’d think. I used it on a 60H chain for my mini skid steer. One side went fine, the other side needed a little more stretching. I knew I was overextending the tools capabilities but finished the job. I ruined the jaws by bending them beyond repair. I remedied that mistake by ordering and paying for a new one. It’s definitely worth having in the tool box.

I bought the #60-100 set and the breaker works okay (the jaws dont hold square) but the puller deformed the second time i used it. Simple #60 single roller conveyor chain was too much

If you work with roller chain, do yourself a favor a buy this tool which will make your life so much easier!Simple to use, just use a grinder with flap disc and remove both rivets from one side of the chain then attach tool to chain rivet holes and tight screw pushing the link out of side plate. Yeah, its really that simple to disassemble roller chain with this tool!Hopefully, you were smart enough to buy the roller chain puller for assembling the chain :O)Just wish there were a way to not get all greasy while working on well oiled roller chain ... lol

I haven't had a chance to use it at work yet but from first glance the thing seems solidly built and it arrived in a timely manner.! I'm apprenticing as a millwright and one of the guys on another crew lent me a similar chain breaker that worked awesome so I don't see why this one won't! As soon as I have a chance to try it out I'll report back in more detail as to how it went! :)
