Great mirror. It appeared cloudy and scratched when it showed up but then I noticed it had protective film on it. It’s perfectly clear as long as you take the protective film off first.

Very lightweight & compact for use in backpack. Bought these in case of emergency & like that they aren’t real glass which could shatter & would b heavier.

I mean come on, something like this may save your life one day. You get two for the price of one not to mention the whistle attached. These are in my ditch bag on my boat. It definitely gives me a peace of mind.

Brought these on a fishing trip to the Bahamas for emergencies and to signal friends fishing down the flat away from me. I was able to effectively signal to them just shy of a mile away and sure it could work further

If you know the airman’s survival mirror this is much smaller and a dull finish. Probably better for just in case while hiking as it is also much lighter. But the real thing has multiple uses this won’t do.One came with a deep gouge and small scratches. I’ll use them to teach my nephews but will look for the real thing

In our go-bags and car emergency kits. They take very little room and do signal well. A great plus is that these have instructions. I have one in my backpacks for solo hiking. I hope we never need them. But being ready is having some peace of mind. And it’s not like they are never used- one was a pretty good mirror to evaluate scrapes on my face during a hike.

Just as the ones I used in the military. View window to aim sunlight onto an object, string to tether to your pack or belt loop. Perfect size and is a great addition to my equipment.
