My wife has been using these for a display for months, and only just now realized they have a protective film over them when they arrive. Now instead of a matte black, they have a bright sheen and look much nicer!

I used a bunch of these risers in the black color to elevate several pieces in my vintage/antique Halloween displays. They work great, making items in back rows much more visible. They are exactly as depicted-hexagonal shaped plastic risers in graduated heights and diameters. They do have a plastic shipping protector on each one that will need to be peeled off, although in the black color you barely even notice it. All of mine arrived in perfect condition although I see some reviews complaining of cracks, etc. Very happy with these!

I read the other reviews and suspected the ones complaining about cloudiness had not removed the protective film. But I admit now that even I started to doubt myself as I struggled to find the film on these things. I completely see why others didn’t realized this step was needed. It really looks like they are just natively not transparent. It took a long time (and several fingernails) to finally pick up one corner. Gorgeous after that!

My product was manufactured wrong and the shiny side was on the inside and the dull scratched up side was on the outside. I returned it once and ordered again in hopes it was a one-off issue but it happened AGAIN and I have to return it again. I really wish I could get this item correctly made they’re beautiful…. But not like this

Size of the product is good. I ordered the clear set but the “clear†plastic is not clear but cloudy. The top is clear but the sides are cloudy. I was hoping to but something inside the cylinder and set something else on top (to save some space) but that did not work since the sides are cloudy and the item wouldn’t be visible.Also some of the cylinders had a small crack or not perfectly formed. From a distance that’s not visible but I guess the quality is not the absolute best.

I use this for my crystal display and it's perfect. It even holds large crystals like 3lbs on the biggest stand. There is a film to protect the plastic when it arrived.

These risers really added a nice touch to my market display and helped to fill “holes†so the table looks full and well kept. I wasn’t sure if the octagon shape was going to work well compared to the square. But now that they’re here, I’m really glad I made the choice! It’s easy to fit them into the nooks and crannies of the display and they aren’t at all bulky. They are a bit expensive (imho) which is the only reason why I might hesitate to repurchase. That’s being said, if you’re on the fence of whether you should purchase them or not, it’s definitely worth giving them a shot! Great quality and arrived in perfect condition.
