This tea set is exactly what I've been looking for. I picked it because it matches my gold rim china and has a cream and sugar bowl included. I only wish it also had a tiny spoon and perhaps a mini tiered tray to match.The pieces were a bit dirty upon opening but they washed up fine. Little one and I play dolls a lot and this set seemed perfect enough for us all to enjoy some tea.The packaging is impeccable. I can see this set staying safe for years to come. The cardboard insets are tight to the pieces and nothing shifts around. The latch on the case is very secure and I have no fear of it flying open.For shipping, the case was wrapped in tissue paper and cushioned with that flexible foam in a box marked "jewelkeeper" on the outside. I appreciate that Amazon then put that box inside another to hide the contents from the recipient during the holidays.Update: the recipient (8 year old) loved the tea set, even among other gifts including electronics. We had hot tea (apple cider) twice with our guests on Christmas day. It was a big hit! Also, there was no damage to the set from the heat. The dishes were handwashed and set out to dry before being repacked in the case.I love this porcelain tea set. Absolutely worth the cost.

I love everything about this tea set! The storage box is very sturdy and very pretty. The tea set is absolutely beautiful and one would have to throw a piece of the set to break it. We got it for our six-year-old granddaughter, Sophia, who has had a tin tea set for years and she loves serving us tea( water.)She is going to love seeing this under the Christmas tree and our “tea†will not taste of tin. If you want a nice tea set, buy this one!

Very attractive and love the storage case.However, this is meant for an older, more dexterous child. It is very breakable.

This tea set is so beautiful. The quality is remarkable and only time will tell how durable it is. Definitely will need to monitor the use of tea set, my daughter is only 6 so I think she may not be gentle enough yet on her own. But I definitely love that I got these. It’s perfect.

This was a gift for my granddaughter and she loves it. The colors are beautiful, the porcelain pieces feel so smooth to the touch, it is well made, and it comes in a beautiful carrying case that makes it easy to store and take from place to place safely. So much better than I had even hoped for!
