These are exactly what I needed. I have some plants directly under my gutters in my back yard, but the gutters need to be fixed. HOA allowed roofers to replace the roof and not fix back the gutters properly so they are in the process of fixing them. Hopefully in my lifetime as you know how HOAs are 🙄. Anyways, the rain water flows out of those gutters hard and tears up my plants. I made a greenhouse shade thing but it just looked tacky. So I thought about using these plastic umbrellas and thought they would serve as decorations as well. Then when I looked at the reviews I see people using them as greenhouse covers for their plants. So smart! They are kinda whimsical for me. Luv, luv them. Good size. I would say medium size coverage.

These were surprisingly nice and sturdy. We bought them to cover tomato plants in a large pot. We removed the handle, and they covered the plants well - protecting them from the elements. They held up well enough we can use them again next spring.

Spring in the pacific northwest can be very rainy. My tomatoes were suffering from too much water so I bought this pack of umbrellas and placed them in the soil to act as a rain cover. It worked great and looked super cute! I also got a little bit of green house effect warming from them as an added bonus!I'm sure they work well for children too!
