I use these on my fishing boat to protect the hull from concrete docks. They are strung lengthwise down the starboard side on 3/4†nylon line, suspended just below the gunwale. Being 5†wide they stick out far past the gunwale and hull, protecting both from damage. They also add buoyancy when we lean out over the side to bring in the lines and take off the fish and line floats, keeping the rail from going under.They will eventually get damaged in use (they’re hard foam bouys) but they can be replaced individually when worn out. They serve my needs much better than a traditional rubrail.

I use these floats as marker buoys for my crabbing nets. They are well constructed and have really nice buoyancy. The color is nice and easily visible in low light.The best part was the price - about $2 cheaper per float than similar models. I’m on season 2 with my buoys and don’t see these ever really needing to be replaced. I’m a very satisfied customer.

Excelentes boyas, muy resistentes y de buen amaño. Yo las use para delimitar el area en un lago y no invadan los wave runners a los nadadores. Me funciono muy bien.
