This tool does not fit the standard tension rods that are on my drums. I have at least a half dozen tuning keys and they all fit but not this one.

I really like this drum ratchet and love the idea of quick drum head removal with the detachable bit that can be used with a drill. The ideas is fantastic. Just one problem… the bit is too small for drum lugs. It will not fit all the way over the entire top of the lug.Good design, good price, but can never be used for it’s intended purpose.

I was so excited to use a ratcheting drum key to do some needed maintenance. Out of the package it looked and felt great. But when I went to put the key to my drum it didn't fit. I tried some other drums, the only lugs I got it to fit on was my drum kit snare. I was very dissapointed. I thought I could fix the bit by taking a file to the slot. But while I was getting out my file I was fidgeting with the ratchet. I noticed there was a metal sleeve around where the bit insert is. I spun it and the bearing that holds the bit in went flying. I spent too long looking for it and never found it. DO NOT BUY THIS!
