The construction of the reeds is terrible. They don't play at all and are unfixable as well. I'm a Pro player looking for reeds for students and I can't believe how bad these are.

If zero stars were an option they would get that and still be overrated. Can barely be call a bassoon reed at all - save your $16 and go buy from a local music store where you will actually get something of worth. I’ll consider this lesson learned.

And the other one only lasted a couple of weeks. I wish I'd known that but my son didn't tell me that until he asked for a replacement only a couple weeks after the item came. Obviously I questioned why he'd need more so soon. He's a senior in high school and responsible; it's the product, not the kid.

After getting these for my daughter I heard from her band teacher that he is trying to make them work. He said "they were unsupported in the center and the sides were really hard." He gave up after a week. I guess I should have known that this was too good of a deal considering one read is ~ $20.

I couldn’t name one good thing about this product. It’s cheap, it tastes like plastic, it had splinters, and it was difficult to make a sound on my bassoon with it. Don’t waste your money,

Terrible quality. Reed was split down the middle for all three - poor sound and poor quality.
