This was used in a cigar box guitar. I liked the sound transfer into my CUBE speaker. No distortion, clean sound transfer.

Bought for Rare Zim-Gar tenor parlor guitar. Well use it all except for the 3mm pickup. To high for my bridge. Replacing with .9mm. Was easy to put in taking your time and looks great when done. Amplified this tenor. Added extra screws to close gap in middle if placed part. Worked out just great.

I was surprised at how low the price was. But it looks and operates just like the one I was replacing. I was only changing it because the battery box clip was broken. But the hardest part was fishing the 1/4†plug down to the bottom of the guitar and pulling it through the hole. That took a few tries but it wasn’t too bad. All in all I like it a lot.

Each frequency band is very responsive and has a good range of adjustment. I did not use the rod pezio that came with it since I needed to use a disk pezio in my application. Had no problems installing, but I wish it had a template for cutting the hole.I just bought another one and I WILL be using the rod pezio pickup this time.UPDATE: I completed my next build (one galon oil can) using the rod pezio and the response is very good across all strings. Just now ordered another one.
