I buy large jars of natural peanut butter. After burning up 2 immersion blenders trying to mix it, I found this!Attached to a 3/8†variable speed cordless drill motor, it is difficult to believe just how well this works!Other reviewers have suggested getting a “firm†grip on the jar. I discovered that after mixing for a while, I could relax the grip on the jar and let it slowly spin, while keeping the mixer blades at the bottom of the jar. This ensures that the peanut butter on the bottom edges gets well mixed.To clean, while still attached to the drill, spin it slowly in a cup of hot water, then throw in the dishwasher!I heartily recommend this for mixing jars of natural peanut butter.

I attached this to my variable-speed battery drill. I wouldn't attempt using it on a drill without variable-speed. Before I tried it I was concerned about being able to properly secure the jar, or that it might spin peanut butter all around. But I simply put the jar of peanut butter into the drain of my sink, and it was effortless to hold it there. After about two minutes my peanut butter was perfectly homogeneous.I had hoped to clean it easily by spinning it in some water with Dawn, but I had to use a brush to remove all residue.This is so much easier than using a butter knife to mix the oil and peanut sediment. Wish I had looked for this years ago!

I have been using a hand mixer with only one of the beaters in. It did a pretty good job but even buying the smaller containers of peanut butter it didn't always get the bottom of the jar. I would have to hold extremely tight to the containers when using the hand mixer otherwise it would spin out of control. Some of the reviews said that you had to hold the container very tight when using this and while yes you need to have a firm grip on it it is much easier that trying to use a hand mixer. I actually burnt up a couple of hand mixers on some of the different brands of peanut butter. With this jiffy mixer i could actually get the tall peanut butter jars again.

This is the right size for mixing pint glaze containers for pottery...not easy to find sometimes in this small size. Looks just like the ones at pottery supply, perhaps a bit longer stem but eh bottom part is the same size.

I have tried every device on the market that claims to mix peanut butter. I’ve even made my own. None of them have worked worth a damn until this. Get a proper battery operated drill, hang on tight to that jar, and go slow till you have some confidence. This thing gets the job done. It is not easy to clean at the end… Unless you have a dog.

For my intended purpose of mixing emulsions, this was not the tool to get as it did not blend well, even at high speeds. I can imagine it being good for high viscosity things like nut butters, as others had mentioned.

If you like all natural peanut butter, or any nut butter really, then this thing is for you. Trying to keep nut butters mixed with their oils is a pain in the behind! I tried doing it by hand, which takes forever. I tried doing it with the immersion blender, which almost burns out the motor. I tried just dumping the contents of the jar into the blender, but that just makes a mess and wastes a lot of peanut butter. Then I got this thing.It will fit easily inside the peanut butter jar. It attaches quickly and easily to my cordless drill which has more than enough power to mix without overheating. It's easy to scrape off into the jar so there's minimal waste. It goes straight into the dishwasher with the other utensils and comes out sparkling clean.Definitely highly recommended.

Tried several mixers for natural peanut butter. They all broke. This one is indestructible. And mixes very well using a drill.
