I purchased the guitar strings winder so I could remove my old worn set of strings faster and place a set of new strings much faster! I keep one on the shelf in my music room and one in guitar case. A third winder is still in the package as a backup..

OK gang, I got the three pack of Dunlop string winders. What a piece of junk. I got two sets of strings put on my guitar before a handle would snap off. Save your money. Go the extra $$$ and get the GOSONO heavy duty string winder with the attachment for an electric hand drill. These hold up and are built to last. Boo on the cheap Dunlop ones. They can't cut it.

It's as if it was intentionally designed for the crank to bang into the adjacent tuner as you're trying to wind a string. Seriously, couldn't they have made it 1/4" higher for proper clearance? Whoever designed this really missed the boat.
