I have used the eyecup on Sony a7ii over two months without any issues.The product is very reasonable price. Its rubber is not soft as the original Sony eyecup. I am comfortable with the product eyecup rubber.

These are a great replacement for the factory eye cups. I had a problem early on with my A7III loosing them. My A9 seemed to stay on but the A7III lost two before these replacements solved the problem. I now keep an extra set in my bag just to be safe. I do not suggest using the system without an eye cup. The metal groove that the eye cup sits in will destroy your glasses if you wear any... don't ask me how I know!These are identical to the factory eye cups and work just as well. No problems with the eye sensors at all. Shipping was quick with Prime and I will buy them again if I lose another one.

I purchased a used A7RII and thought it was strange how much light was leaking into the viewfinder. After a few days I noticed it was actually due to the eyecup having a tiny tear in it. Purchased this 30 seconds later and I'm perfectly happy with the replacement. It was a bit more snug than the original but it went on just fine, and now once it's on you can't tell the difference, except there's less light leaking in for me now.

Works as intended but I am constantly loosing them in shoots. I have to purchase them about every three to four months.

I'm not sure why there are some who can't get this eyepiece to fit their a7iii but the two I got fit just fine. I have only mounted one so far as it hasn't gone missing yet like the factory part did. These fit the bill and work just fine.

Very happy with the fit on my Sony a9ii, will buy several more packs to keep around. I tried to use the camera without the cup but I end up mashing my forehead on the joystick on verticals and couldn't figure out why I can't move my AF point -_-

Both fell off the first time I used either one. If you have your camera in a sling at your side these will pop off very easily.
