I haven't used it yet, but it fits. It should work admirably to cut glare when I am using camcorder in bright sunlight.

I love this item and I even use it when I am indoors filming a concert or show so that the light of my camcorder screen arm doesn't disturb anyone sitting near me. I use this outdoors too and it works very well for me. I always have this in my equipment bag. Works well for both indoor and outdoor use. Great product, I'm glad I purchased this. Highly recommended.

I have the Panasonic HC-X1 and AG-UX90 cameras and these JJ 3.5" LCD hoods fits well. These hoods doesn't sit on the LCD screen at all, they sit on the LCD frame instead, NOT covering any information on the screen. The 1st and 2nd photo shows without and with LCD hood so you can see that it doesn't sit on the LCD screen.These panasonic cameras LCD screens are terrible in sunlight. In my 3rd and 4th photos show outdoor senario without and with the hood. The hood reduced the "milky" look and shows more color, making it easier to focus, iris, and see the settings.The hood is a solid harder piece of cardboard or plastic and is covered with some vinyl wrap like imitation leather. The velcro straps are very well built. With that said, like any hood, keep in mind using the touch screen is a little difficult to reach unless you have longer fingers. However, you still have the buttons on the camera too.The unfortunate thing, these hoods can't be folded flat to put in the camera bag, that's why the 4 stars.

I've ordered a total of four of these (3.5") in recent years for my Panasonic AG AC-90 cameras. They fit as far as dimensions allowing the entire LCD screen to show up to the edges. However, it's a small fit on the back flap attached to Velcro over the bottom flap. But, as of today, all of the hoods' glued sections have fallen apart - looks like the glue got brittle. None have been exposed to harsh climate conditions. Now using gaff tape to hold them together.So now I'm shopping Amazon for a different brand.

I learned that filming hockey games indoors was super easy.....filming lacrosse games outside, not easy when it's sunny out. This mostly solves that issue....however, when it's noon and no cloud cover, it's mostly a guessing game....but this does help. Price is great too.

This screen hood is great for sunny day now I can see what I am filming before could not see the screen in the sun so a great buy made very well would recommend to family and friends.

I bought this for a sun shade for a portable GPS in my convertible. The reason I bought it is because the description said it was for a 3.5 in. screen. The actual measurement of the sunshade is 4.5 in. It is too big for my application. It would have been perfect if it was the advertised size of 3.5. in. I went through a lot of trouble getting it to fit.
