Amazing case. Exactly what I was looking for, and at the price I wanted to pay. I purchased the zoom accessory kit and the furry windscreen fits perfectly while this case is on. I bought the recorder for portable location recording, and this case privides protection and multiple mounting options for securing itit firmly to gear. Well thought out and produced design for budget price. Thank you

Bought for the H6 but decided to try it on my X8, and I was surprised that, for the most part, it works! It moves a little side to side, and the elastic goes a bit over the XLR inputs, but it’s all easy to work with. You can access all of the ports, and the whole screen is visible. The wheel gets in the way a bit at the bottom, so I bent the case out some and it is better.The case is really sturdy and well built. My only annoyance is that the clear plastic cover doesn’t easily get out of the way, it just bends down and sticks out.Either way, nice product for a great price.

I wanted a case for my Zoom H6. This fits great. It has hook/loop closures for all the ports and panels you need access to. But...honestly...I'm getting kinda sick of it. I'm constantly having to open and close panel after panel to get the controls and plugs I need to use. And because it's hook/loop every time you open a panel you get this loud RIIIIPPP. Not really conducive to recording. Live and learn.

The package seemed as if they took a lot of care of their product. Good quality. Lots of Velcro so you can get to all the compartments. So many that it does get tedious on a fast moving set. But it does bring ease to the protection of the recorder.

One of the features I like most is the clear plastic flap that covers the front of your H6. It not only protects the front from dust and scratch's, but helps keep your gain controls from being accidently moved after their set. Your H6 is held into the case by the strap shown on the above product page (second picture from the bottom).... this works really well once you figure how its threaded. The little plastic buckle is to keep your strap from pulling through the eyelet on the H6. I think this assembly deserves an explanation or more detailed reference.. Maybe I'll YouTube it latter on. Suffice to say that I really like this design. Its well thought out and usable...

For the price it’s pretty good. I’m just happy to have it as it provides additional protection while out in the field. I like the boom pole strap and it’s very snug attached to my tripod.

Overall it does protect your device, but at the cost of being able to use it.You cannot change batteries without removing case. When you try to mount recorder to a tripod or rig you need a longer screw, but even then you have the boom pole velcro hanging off. The top cover doesn't cover the foam microphone shield that comes with h5 and used to live on my device. You have to press hard on the plastic button protector to record (I know, you're supposed to lift the flap, that takes time on a shoot).It's just not a well thought out product. Tons of room for improvement.

If you have a Zoom recorder, you must have it. The case offers the necessary protection against daily use. It is practical and easy to adapt to your needs, it has several pieces and it is padded. Offers waterproof protection in wet or rainy conditions. I totally recommend it.

The case is really cool. The only thing is I have trouble getting my windscreen on really tight when using this case. It works but it is a bit of a pain to get the windscreen to hold

Good quality item and good materials ! I had an original Zoom cover and I prefer this one being less expensive and having the same accessibility.You can buy it without the small strap, since I don't really see the use of it.I like the rear velcro holder since it has a sticky back which you can use to fix against a pole/tripod/etc.
