I ordered a different brand that was about $10.00 cheaper. It was nice, however it was very tight to rotate. You do NOT want a tight rotating filter. Applying too much pressure on the lenses threads can damage them. So, I returned it.This filter can easily be rotated. I also field tested it. Works perfect.

This filter works great. I have used this for many different lighting situations and types of photography. It does change your exposure triangle. So, just be aware of that. I haven't had an issue with vignetting. But, the filter I bought is large compared to the lens. I use an adapter to use this same filter on the various lenses that I own.

It was better than the one I bought at Samy's camera. I use it all the time shooting autos.

I included 2 images. One with the polarizer and one without. Then they were edited slightly to make them the same exposure. But it's clear the see that the polarizer helps to remove some of the glare on the chair and floor.

The item arrived quickly and functioned fine with one exception, a big one. when installed, I can't get the lenshood over the filter to install. And when the lenshood is mounted first, you can't reach in to mount the filter. Both my lenshood and this new filter are JJC products. You would think they would have designed this better. I can't use them together! Not good.

Tested this in a Nikon 800mm 6.3 lens instead of buying Nikon’s $750 drop in polarizer. I pixel peeped at 300% after using a tripod and photographing a $5 bill at 45 feet. ISO 64 on my Z9 and I could see virtually no difference between photos with and without this filter. I checked at full and half-polarization and couldn’t see any differences in image quality. So now I rotate the polarizer to where I want it while in the drop in holder and then place that in the lens. Not as convenient as Nikon’s solution with the wheel but about 5% of the cost for the 2-3 times per year I will use it. Money that can be better spent on batteries or a tele-converter.

The performance of this JJC professional polarizer filter is very good. It is perfectly smooth to rotate and doesn't leave a color cast that I have noticed, so I am able to achieve the results I expect with it. This polarizer filter has been out in the elements for a few dozen outings thus far without issues. The polarizing effect is strong enough that you are able to dial in the amount of effect you want in your shot.Overall, I find this CPL to be really excellent quality for the money, compared to the other high quality CPLs

It's hard to rate a CPL since it either does what it says on the tin or it doesn't. This is a fairly basic CPL and works fine. As mundane as CPL filters go, it's fine. I would have given 5 stars but upon opening, I found it just drenched in machining oil. A quick clean and it's fine, but still has some odor of machine oil. Packaging is nice.

I returned this after finding that the outer ring used to rotate the filter was so stiff I could only turn it one direction or I would loosen it from the lens itself.
