It work on canon C-PL filter and YKEASU ND filter. It has challenge on MEIKE band filter. it is tight put in.The drop-in filter adapter cover is work. I purchased from Amazon before the order case. The Magnetic Stack is not strong to hold together. If you have 1 or 2 filters. not MEIKE band filter. it is cheap and work great for you. I will return it and try MEIKE one.

If you need this to cover the side slot while the adapter is sitting on your desk, it’s fine but this will NOT work with most wide angle lenses. My research has simply shown that the clear filter offered by Canon is meant to allow a piece of clear glass reducing the distance between the sensor and end of the EF lens. Without it and if you use this piece, your lens will not be able to focus very far (my 28mm 2.8 couldn’t focus to infinity without the clear filter installed)

So I have a canon eos R and I have canon EF to RF converter with the drop in filters. Initially I was looking for the clear filter which was about $55 but then I ran into this product. I was a bit skeptical at first because it was new and had no reviews but when it got here I found that it worked well! My drop in filters fit in the cases and the dust cap covers the gap where the drop in filter goes! So now I don’t have to buy the clear filter and I saved myself $55!

This works, well, for what it is. Unfortunately, the production process is clearly poor and these are made as cheap as possible. The super glue that holds the magnets WILL give up and allow the magnets inside (which are oversized for their purpose) to unglue and snap together. Your expensive filter being in the middle of that force. Had to replace 2 filters due to damage from this happening. Avoid these at all costs. Find literally any other product.

The case opening is very narrow and does not fit any of the canon EF drop in filters as advertised.
