I'm 5'9'' 205lbs, little bit of fluff on me not too much. I typically go with XL on most of my shorts that go by letter sizing. They fit well, a little snug around the waist and butt and legs lol. typical why I go for an XL so I get more room in butt and legs. to me they've felt like a large. Just a heads up for the bigger guys. I 100% would get again, I love them, super comfortable water repellent, light weight, stretchy and nice style too. good alternative to the Wowie brand.Update: got another pair in black in an XXL. There’s more room in the things and groin. Little bit more room in waste. But not that much more.

I'm 6'2", 275lbs. I purchased these shorts in both XL and XXL (keeping both). Pictured here are the gray XL shorts in 7" inseam. They were tight enough on me for my wife to enjoy, without squeezing too much (they were still comfortable). Speaking of comfort, the stretch on these were amazing. The material was sturdy and also great for by the pool. Pockets were usable and can hold a phone or wallet fine.

Overall the shorts fit well, are stylish, and comfortable. They are made out of material that makes noise when you walk, but it’s not unbearable and I’m someone who would fixate on that noise if it was too bad. Lastly, the draw string is as long as the shorts themselves, not sure if that’s the style nowadays but I find it odd. Overall though the shorts are great for the price and make stylish lifting shorts.

Very happy with these shorts. I will buy more in different colors. Sturdy material that does not wrinkle. Adequate size pockets. Like the 5 inch length. Also priced right. The elastic waist band stretches well not flimsy.

UPDATE: I wanted to add a quick update to my paragraph below as the seller proactively reached out to me and offered me a full refund, which is pretty cool. I declined the refund offer since I've already worn these quite a bit (in the yard and to wash the car) so I wouldn't feel right taking the refund and I feel like I've gotten my money's worth for the price. Also, I should have mentioned that I have 3 or 4 pair of other JMIERR shorts that are a different style than these and I love them. I'm not sure if the weird fit is specific to this style or if the actual pair I got was an anomaly but suffice it to say, this is definitely a brand to check out, based on the quality and fit of other pairs I've purchased as well as their customer service.Original Review:If you’re just looking for something casual to wear around the house and you don’t care much about style, these are pretty comfy. They’re super light fabric with a nice stretch to them - they’re basically like khaki board shorts. That said, they fit really weird and flare out so it almost looks like you’re wearing a skirt. Regardless of what you see in the product pictures, these are not slim fit at all.

I have now purchased 2 of these shorts (both 7 inch). The product is exactly as described and as pictured. The material is very stretchy and flexible so you can wear them for all kinds of activities. They also look nicer than typical athletic shorts so you can get away with wearing them all over the place. You also will not sweat through the material which is nice. The pockets are deep and wide, which I actually don't prefer, but that's fine.

Bought these as an alternative to a similar name brand, and they’re great! They’re not quite as comfortable as the brand name, but the fit and color are true to size. They pockets stick out a little if you have thicker thighs
