My cat was a touch too big for this carrier, but he was fairly comfortable in his journey to the vet's office. This size would be perfect for small cats/kittens. It is sturdy, well-made, and offers your pet lots of ventilation and ability to look around.

I got rid of my rigid plastic kennel for my cat due to space restrictions and needed something easy to stow away. This bag works for that - stores like a backpack. Obviously, since it's not rigid, it buckled a bit under the weight of my 12 pound cat. He fit into it fine, although it was hard to get him inside as he was uncooperative and his claws snagged on the fabric. The bottom has an insert that seems to be plastic and covered with the same material as the carrier. I was able to wash it off in the tub and it didn't fall apart. I also washed the whole thing with the shower and hung to dry. I live in NYC and had to walk a mile with the carrier. Over the shoulder and cross-body were tough. I wish I'd gotten a backpack carrier instead, but this will do.

I bought this item for my new kitten. It has perfect ventilation for her. She is able to see me and feels safe in it. Besides, I can see her. The zippers are sturdy and easy to use. The plastic cat carries are heavy and have little holes for vents.
