hubby is building a go kart for our 7yo son. He got these for the project. They look to be good quality, and like they will perform fine for the purpose... except that the actual foot pedal part is rather small. Smaller than a deck of cards small. Son doesn't have big man feet so hopefully it won't be an issue, but if I were getting these for any other person It would be.

I got these to custom build a foot steering system for my trolling motor on my inflatable pontoon. These are made well and have all items needed to connect the pedals to a cart or scooter motor as they are intended for. I'm using them for a custom application and they will work great for that project also.

The throttle cable on this feels very sturdy with good flexibility on the casing. The pedals are all metal, which is nice, but they're not machined very well. They are more chrome reflective on the upper (visible) side, the underside is a little neglected, please see my photos. They should work well, but are pretty small. As you can see, the pedal itself is only 2" by 1-1/2".
