Pretty accurate and precise moisture balance. I didn't have enough time yet to play with it as much I would like, but so far I find it very useful for me. I've been using it for QC, to measure the amount of moisture on different small plastic pieces, mostly Nylon 6. The balance helps me to calculate the amount o water I have to add to these plastics right after they come out of the injection mold to harden them. It holds up to 20 different reports and it gives you the wet and dry weight along with the moisture percentage and the time elapsed The halogen heater goes up to 160ºC but I leave it on 100-130ºC, I feel it increases accuracy if it heats up not so fast. It comes with 2 calibration modes and a 100g weight to calibrate the balance. I use it on the ramp-up mode or the manual mode, can be set also in automatic. During the process you can check the LOD moisture graph too.What I would have changed is the RS-232 connector, nowadays USB is the standard.I recommend it to anyone testing moisture and weight loss on plastic or chemicals.
