I have a set of Shimano GRX wheels with a matte finish. Something about that finish, it holds onto sealant and then I gets splotchy. I've tried scrubbing at it with a magic eraser but it doesn't work. It then occurred to me, this might be dried on sealant. Searching for a sealant remover, I found this stuff.I tried it on a couple different types of dried sealant. For me, it didn't work very well. Instructions say to apply with a cloth and let it sit for 15-30 minutes. Yes, minutes. After 30 minutes, only a small amount of sealant was removed. I tried it with both WTB and Mucoff with similar results. If I gave it a couple hours, it might work, but in that time, I could scrape the sealant off with a finger nail.More concerningly, it doesn't list what's in it on the bottle. No information regarding what to do if you get it in your eyes, or accidently swallow it. Is it safe on your skin, who knows. No warning labels of any kind on the bottle. It doesn't work. You don't know what's in it or if it's harmful. Avoid this one.
