These are great except instead of five Crewel/ Embroidery Size 5, the package contained five Size 4. I feel confident of this because I measured the needles using the John James sizing guide.This is only a primary consideration -other than accuracy in packaging descriptions- if you are concerned with how your wool thread behaves at a detailed level for your particular stitch.
