This is size 12 for quilting and I have tried every kind. This is the first needle that I can thread with a true quilting thread. The eyes are just too little. I will be buying many more of these. Thanks, at last

I was so anxious to get started quilting so I opened the needles and tried to run a thread through the eye. I tried different threads with no luck. I could not even thread the eye of the needle by using a needle threader. So don’t order this size. I have heard other quilters say the bigger the number, the smaller the eye of the needle. That may be correct . Dissatisfied for sure.

These needles are nice and sharp and just the right size for hand quilting but the metal is just to flimsy. I bent the first needle with the first stitch and it broke in half on the second stitch. I would not recommend these if you are quilting material with lots of seams.

These were purchased for hand-quilting. Unfortunately, the eyes are too small for the quilting thread to go through. .
