Attention!
- Please remember to adjust the pressure by turning the tension nut during operation.
- If the shear-pressure adjustment head is released too much, the upper bladecan fly off and result in injuries.
- If the clipping pressure is too low, hair can gather between the clipping blade.
- If the clipping pressure is too high, the motor unit heats up.
What do we need to look for?
- After clipping, remove all oil from the machine by rubbing it down with a dry cloth and carefully
- Clean the clipper head and clipper blades with a dry brush. Oil the blades to prevent rusting.
- Even the smallest rust spots on the blades can affect clipping.
- Use OIL! And use it frequently! Oil will help reduce the heat created by the sections of the blades zipping back and forth.

Well these are a sturdy set of clippers! They are very sold and heavy duty.These are really made for livestock, not for pets. I would not suggest using them on a dog as some seem to be doing.A nice ABS case for storage, extra blade, oil and multi-tool. Very nice!My daughter is using them for artistic fur costumes that just clog up and dull our regular clippers. These are working very well for this purpose.

Works well to shear the sheep. Do not assume they are easy to use for animals with a less dense coat. You need a lot of control and precision in application.

I don't get to have goats just yet. The deal is that everything has to be ready before we even consider it.We've got a goat milker, a feeder, a cattle prod (won't use it unless absolutely necessary) and a few other odds and ends. I figured this would be one more item I would eventually need so I'm getting it now.I've already tried out my goat milker by going to a friend's place who has 5 milking goats. Now I know it works and how to use it.I need to do the same with this in the spring so that I can have that skill learned. I'm sure the neighbors won't mind me helping them sheer their goats.To me this looks good, but since I'm a newbie I'll have to save the full review for next year.

I ordered these to keep our fuzzy miniature donkey cool and clipped during the summer - unlike his siblings he developes this shaggy coat that just doesn't do him any favors when it's 110F outside.These work great. Definitely in the realm of power tools and should be used with extreme caution, these shears are extremely powerful. The motor is as large as the one in my demolition hammer. They also come with several replacement parts; blades, brushes, a big bottle of oil, etc.As a tool guy I can also say these are built very well. Stainless steel blades and fasteners, heavy cast metal gear box, thick reinforced plastic casing, vulcanized rubber, heavy duty cable. All the things you want in a tool. The case is also a nice touch, it holds the shears, oil, and all the spare parts perfectly.

This is a well built tool for a fraction of the price for some of the large name brands. You can easily groom and sheer most animals in need of such. Nice that it comes with its own wrenches and oil, as well as a portable carrying case.

I have a doodle breed with the double coat that is so thick that she feels like a sheep. I got this to see if I could use it on her. I have been cutting her for 8 years and feel like I know what I am doing. Even at the lowest setting it would be hard for me. It just isn’t gentle enough for an amateur. It feels well made and comes with everything, just didn't' work out for me.

This clipper is really powerful! It cuts through thick hair easily, and the case is great for keeping it clean in the barn. It's not too loud, even though it's strong. I like that it has adjustable speeds, but I wish the cord was a little longer, so i wouldn't need extra cords
