Straightforward to apply, although the backing removal is sometimes difficult to get started. Sticks well enough but can be lifted to adjust if necessary when installing. After a few days, the tape is stuck tight and basically cannot be removed. Just what I wanted for this product.

I read a lot of reviews for a lot of deck tape products before selecting this one for the beams on my deck build. I'm very happy with this tape. The adhesion was just right. It stuck well without making a mess. It was then on several days before I was able to lay the joists across the beams. The tape sat thru cold rain and hot baking sun. It didn't bubble or buckle but held tight. It also didn't tear when I dragged joists over it. I will purchase this product again!

I built a floating deck and used the tape under the boards. It was super easy to apply and adhered well without any issues. It's already been a year and I've had no problems nor do I regret using the tape. Super product and works as it states. I recommend buying this for any outdoor deck building project!

I’m building a large 800 square feet deck and using this tape between rafters, deck boards and joists, and railing caps to help weatherproof treated and redwood lumber. Used about 20 rolls covering all my blocking and metal water guards at the ledgers.These rolls are excellent. The backing comes off in one piece instead of like a lot of cheap brands’ tape.I put a large portion down two months prior to laying deck boards and the tape held up great even with me walking over the top of it during construction.

This tape sticks well, but taking off the backing is VERY difficult. The backing is very thin, tears repeatedly, and the only way to get it off was in strips. Meanwhile, the tape with the backing already removed starts sticking to itself, and it's a wasteful mess. It DOES stick to the beams well, once you get the terrible too-thin backing off. So, there's that. But, really. Buy better tape with a reasonable backing.

I had a lot of joist top edges to cover. I used numerous rolls of this product to help make the deck last. We added 45 pressure treated 2"x12"x12'. We bought this house 7 years ago and now we have to do a major deck rebuild because of rotten joists and decking material. I'm hoping this self sealing tape helps the materials from rotting. Very tacking, easy to install but take it does take a lot of extra time when installing this protective product.

This product may cost a little more than others but it sticks well, is easy to use and doesn't peel or bubble in the heat. For my 2 cents, get this product...you'll be happy you did!
