Great thing to keep in the car. I’ve used them to help others twice (I also have a metal folding shovel that’s key to getting a car unstuck) and they were easy and did the job! They get a bit torn up but worth it!

Seems like a good product. For $80+, I would expect the carrying bag to be large enough to hold the item. Just too small, won't zip the entire way. Make it an inch longer and it'd be fine.

These were very easy to use and quick to set up. Got stuck in my driveway, left the car there, ordered these, and they arrived the next day. I tried rocking the car but the tires just spun so I drove a little forward so I could slide the traction mat under the tires. It grabbed immediately and backed out without any issues. These are staying in my trunk for the rest of the winter and I'll probably get another set for my wife.They're made of durable feeling rubber with the braided steel wire that goes through each section to hold them together. They have metal studs on them like snow tires and worked very well. You can roll them up or lay them flat which is nice for storage options. I'm very happy with these.

I bought these a few years ago and had them in my trunk, and they totally saved me today! Even with a few people helping, we couldn't get my car unstuck, and I remembered I had these and my car was able to roll right out.

I was vancamping in a remote location (70 yo solo female) during several days of unrelenting rain. As I moved the van to avoid worsening conditions, sure enough, I got stuck on a slight slope. It was still raining, and getting dark. The slope was too steep to just leave it there and sleep at that angle, and I was all alone and too far to walk out for help. I was so glad to have the traction mats on hand. It took several tries with repositioning the mats a few times, but eventually I was able to back out and up onto drier ground. SOOO glad I had these on hand!! I decided to buy a second set, so I can put them fore & aft, and make it easier to just roll up on one set and then back up onto the other. Well worth the price!! Very sturdy and grippy.

Those round dimples are not pronounced enough, also they are a very slippery shape. A more elevated (1/2") stares or chevrons that alternately reverse in their place, would be much more gripey. Also, the straight lines that run along the tread should be more pronounced (more elevated) and wavey, not straight. This improvement would greatly increase its traction, (less likely to slip on deep soft snow or deep loose mud) . This improvement would add more weight, but it will give more confidence and much more traction Performance in the product.

Works well, I got myself stuck in the mud and when I mean mud, I mean mud. I went to tractor supply and got 2 of the ones they sell it was the Olympia brand. They only had two in stock. As such, I had to wait for these to get delivered. After spending quite a bit of time with the original two that I had, I knew I had to have a total of 4, one for each tire. As soon as I got these I was able to lift my truck up and place one under each tire in the front as I had had one one each back tire. I have the boards coming from an other purchase but those will be sent back in all probability as they are not flexible. I was stuck at an incline and the boards probably would have broken whereas these track things will allow for an incline.Once I put these under the front tires on the first try, I was able to pull myself out. Prior to getting these additional two tracks, I literally had to lift up the truck three times on each side on the back and was able to move the truck about 6 feet. So, depending upon your individual needs you might actually need a total of 4 of these one for each tire depending upon how stuck you might foresee yourself getting stuck. Now that I have a total of 4 of these one for each tire. So the next time I get stuck, I should be able to pull myself right out. Seems like I get myself stuck in the mud about once every 5 to 10 years.

Had to use these yesterday for a 4Runner stuck in snow. 4 guys couldn't get it out, until these mats went under the tires and they worked immediately and flawlessly. Very happy with the purchase.

Bought these as insurance and hope I never need to actually use them. They seem good quality and likely to do the job and withstand rugged use - as others have said in reviews after usage. They come with the yellow gloves, a simple but useful instruction leaflet and a carry bag. When stored in the bag, it measures approx. 55 x 30 x 12cm, so won’t take up much room in the car boot. Only gave 4 stars as I haven’t actually used them yet to be sure.

The Mats are a bit heavy but made of what looks like thick tire like rubber with ice grip tabs on one side. The Mat is constructed with about 1 inch strips about 1/2 inch high and about 16 inches long. The strips are strung together via very strong cords to allow flexibility. At the end of the Mat the cord is looped back with enough slack to form a handle in which the mat can be dragged into place, when the vehicle is stuck. It comes with a cloth storage bag that unzips to place the Mats into before zipping it up and placing in the vehicle until needed. They also supplied some rubber gloves (similar to the type one would use for washing dishes).I have not used it yet to see how the mat performs but I believe it should work well if the vehicle isn't stuck in too deep of snow. (The vehicle really only needs some solid surface to ride over the snow that the tires are sinking into without the Mat.) The Mat distributes the vehicle weigh like snow shoes while providing solid traction.

Not used so far, bought after a snowstorm when my vehicle was stuck. Seems solid and reliable than others avaliable in the market.

I bought this 2 roll Tire Traction Mat of 39 inches long traction aid with the combination with Snow Traction Mat & Ice Scraper. The Snow Traction Mat & Ice Scraper will allow my tire to climb easily on this thick rubber bar. That way, if I'm stuck on a hill, I will have more traction to gain speed to go up hill in the worst case scenario.
