By purchasing this product you will receive ONE hand picked piece of Manzanita similar to they pieces you see in the product photo.
Our manzanita is legally and sustainably collected from private lands in California, then sand blasted for cleanliness.

Kudos to this small company! The preparation of this piece was obvious to me when I opened the package. I've had several comments from "fish" friends when they see my tank. This piece is sanded and has a fork at the top. In the aquarium it looks fantastic and the angels love to nibble from it. Thank you! Yes, I highly recommend your sticks.

Never buy wood from JOSH'S FROG'S!!! They run it like a lottery. Most likely you are not going to like what you get. For the large piece of manzanita wood on Amazon for $25 dollars it was 16in long and my pinky wide and half split and I bought the twig for $8 it looks like a woodchip. Idk how they are still in business. Getting my order felt like I got conned.

For the price, this was an underwhelming piece of wood, but the real issue was the return policy: yes, it’s returnable, IF you pay the $12 shipping fee. I knew I was taking a risk ordering with a range from 16-24â€, but I figured there’s returns. Marketed as a “large†piece of driftwood, this was on this was on the small size at a wiggly-weird 18 inches that functions more like 16 and was not even an inch thick, with a split down the center. For my purposes it is completely unusable for my large tank, so I tried to return it, but when I discovered the ridiculous return fee Amazon directed me to their email customer service. I asked if there was anything they could do, to return or exchange, and they requested photos only to say that it fits specifications and sorry they can’t help. Complete waste of time, you’d think that a company who is partnered with Petco could accept a return at one of those locations or SOMETHING, but nah.

Came exactly as advertised, good length of quality hardscape. My bristlenose plecos are absolutely obsessed with it, and the wood looks gorgeous in my aquarium setup.

Had to boil many hours and many times to get the tannins out, but not leaching into my tank.

DO NOT BUY. I know what manzania wood is. I have 2 large parrots. What they sent was nothing like the picture depleted.
