Installed on an outdoor gate, this does exactly what I wanted it to do - no batteries, simple to program and operate, and can stay unlocked while I'm home.A little bit of a downside is that installation can be a little tricky. (At least for me.) Overall it's not so bad, but I had issues with tightening the lock halves together, because when I did the lock wouldn't release the handle by itself when turned. (It would stay in an open position.) I chalked it up to my gate being an odd thickness, and then just loosened the screws until it stopped. Now it works fine. (One day I'll get in there and shorten the shaft slightly with a grinder, and that'll probably fix it correctly.)Install directions weren't bad, (are they ever really "good" though?), and support seems to be robust, where information is readily available on their website and so is company contact information.All in all, very satisfied.

So purchased two sets of these level keypad locks, and to be completely honest I had some trouble with install (not a real DIYer) called customer service, they were johnny on the spot, called me, sent video links, texted me to following up. Had Locks installed for a year or more, no issues, lots of use, started to have a few minor issues, sent Jon from customer support a text, him was amazing at helping me over text, phone, sent out parts to fix quickly at NO CHARGE, this happened a couple of times. I after several years of use one handle needed to be replaced, in talking with Jon again he gave us a discount to purchase a new better design, wow so easy to install, much stronger internals, decided to purchase new set for the other door, one of the new keypads had something going on inside that Jon was on happen with (over facetime support help) he sent out replacement, no charge.I cannot give this company, Jon, their product enough praise, you could find other products here but to will not find a better product with this level of customer support and service, I am and will be a customer for life.

We did a lot of research and thought we found the best lock for our metal gate.We ordered it. It arrived fine.When trying to install it, it was so difficult and one little piece broke (a screw extension).The code setting is not easy. The springs that are associated with that little area, can fly off if not careful and good luck finding it.It took us 5 to 6 hrs of pure frustration and no matter what we tried, it was not working. The handles would get stuck and we thought we successfully installed it. We couldn’t open it from the outside but the handle would rotate anyways, it took 2 people with different levels of patience and it all lead to both of us saying “f thisâ€. Unfortunately we had to return it.It’s not as practical and sturdy as it looks and sounds.

I originally purchased a much cheaper one that looks very similar, but I had to return it because it was way too hard to install and ended up not even functioning properly. This one however, is terrific! It is a very heavy quality lock. It has easy instructions and all the parts you could possibly need except for one thing I had to purchase at ace hardware for $5. My door has 2 holes, so I had to purchase a plate to cover the bottom hole. I love this lock so much, I have ordered another one. It is worth every penny! Just having peace of mind is soo wonderful!

This is a viable alternative to the more expensive lockley version. All the same features with the same sturdiness.Customer service is beyond excellent. I had some difficulty installing due to the odd nature of my gate box, but got someone on the phone immediately to walk me through it. Got to love small businesses.If you're reading this review, go ahead and purchase this lock.Thanks Jounjip!

After only 15 months the lock no longer secures our gate. It is simply a handle to open and close the gate. The push buttons are tiny and very tight making them difficult to push down. I am very disappointed. Paying this much for a lock and having it professionally installed we expected several years of use, not just over one year.

I had ordered this lock to split my Airbnb units to keep tenants from accessing but maid staff could pass easily between the units. I received it quickly and it went to a pile of stuff for the contractors to install. When they got to it, over a month had passed. Upon opening found only the keypads, no other parts. I don't think it was the sellers fault, I seemed by the condition of the packaging that it was a return and Amazon just sent it back out again. I called the number provided if there were problems, left a message and 30min later I got a callback from the seller. I texted him the photos and he apologized up and down with sincerity and two days later I had a complete set mailed to me for the contractors to install. It was simple to figure out and discovered what was also really cool is how to disable the lockouts so the contractors didn't have to enter the code every time they pass through and also less people know the door code. Perfect if you want to let family or friends stay in the unit and have easy access. Looks good, works better than I predicted and hats off to the seller. Will be installing these in all my AirBnb's for pass through door separation.
