Received this as a birthday present. Love it, i can sit and have a cup of tea and use it instead of the table . My son received one at Christmas and I looked at it and said I want one. Just hope the dog doesnt decide to chew on it.

I wanted something that would hold my coffee cup in the morning and my glass of wine at night that would fit our wide arm sofa and chair and they work GREAT. Holds my drink so it won't spill and flexible for different arm sizes.

This is really convenient and nice! I use it on the couch arm but then I also use it laid out flat on the ottoman. It's perfect when a lot of people are over and we need a place to put glasses.

We got a similar tray about a year ago for one end of our couch, but we liked it so much, we decided to get this one. Although it is different, it matches the style of the first, and we really needed a solution for the other side. The other side of our couch doesn’t have a side table due to space constraints, so I was constantly battling my wife for the coveted end with the table. This tray has been a great solution to that problem. It fits perfectly on my 5" sofa arm, and the flexible sides seem to me that they would work well on wider (and narrower) arms too.The quality of this tray is impressive. The bamboo feels pretty solid, and it has a nice, naturally variegated look. The magnets for the removable tray are quite strong, which makes the tray stay in place, even when I have a drink and a plate of food balanced on it. The built-in phone/tablet holder works pretty well, though it’s a bit difficult to turn my head enough to read the phone properly. Still, this is a better solution than putting it on the couch, where it could fall under the cushion, get lost under a blanket or be stepped on by our dog.One of the best features is the anti-slip pad on the underside. It grips the fabric of the couch really well, and it hasn’t yet slipped. It also folds up neatly when not in use, making it easy to store and pull out when needed (though we keep it on pretty much all the time).Overall, I am quite happy with this. It definitely works for our couch. The overall quality is very good and it’s utility is likewise excellent.

This tray falls squarely in the "thing I needed that I never knew I needed" category. I am 100% the person who will balance a cup of coffee, a snack, and a phone all on the arm of the couch and just hope for the best. Sadly, that hasn't always worked out so well, just ask my couch and my pants... I didn't even know a thing like this existed until I came across this listing, but let me just say I'm glad I did because it's kinda game changing. Ok, game changing might be too strong of a term, but it is definitely going to make trying to drink/eat/check my phone on the couch a much better experience. It's solidly built and fully adapted to the particular arm size of my couch. The small tray (that can be removed) is held on by magnets - by *strong* magnets. I held it upside down and gave it a good shake and nothing. That small tray isn't going anywhere. The underside has little non-slip dots all across it, that really grip the fabric of the couch. The tray will be staying put. I like the fact that using the small tray is optional, although I personally don't see myself ever taking it off. And of course, there is the slot for your phone/tablet.There are a couple of things about this that I am not thrilled about, hence 4 and not 5 stars, although full disclosure, the second one is rather nit-picky. My primary concern is that the outer piece of wood that is part of the brackets for the phone/tablet (the piece on the outer edge of the tray) leaned inwards by probably about 30 degrees or so. I thought that was an odd design choice and while I was contemplating how that might work to hold the phone/tablet in a better way than if the brackets were strictly vertical, I had an aha moment. I took a look at the pictures of the tray, and realized the outer bracket was supposed to be fully vertical, meaning mine had somehow gotten skewed when it wasn't supposed to be. I then very slowly and carefully tried to push the bracket into a vertical position, and heard some noises that I didn't love. That bracket is still attached, now vertical, and holding a phone without issue, so hopefully all is good, but I am a little worried I compromised things by trying get the bracket to where it was supposed to be. The second thing I didn't love was the placement of the liner on the underside. The liner has a sticky underside that adheres to the tray. On mine, the liner juts out just a tiny bit on one side, so that edge of the tray has a very thin strip of liner with the underside exposed and is a little sticky. Definitely nit-picky, but I have cats and dogs in the house, and that edge is going to attract and hold pet hair and get furry quickly. I don't know that realistically I can trim that edge without messing up the lining or the tray, so I don't see that as an option. Again, that part is pretty nit-picky and I'm sure not a problem for most people.Overall I am happy to have discovered this.
