Love these small jars for gift giving, especially when you want to share something expensive or difficult to make and you don't want to give 1/2 filled jars to friends and guests. I keep several homemade honey jars in my office to give to visitors. They are the perfect size for making small batches of pesto or preserves so you only open what you can use in a few days rather than opening a large jar that will need refrigeration or spoil once opened. They are a great value and a bonus is they are environmentally friendly storage containers!

Your classic mason jar. I am glad that it came with extra lids and labels as well. I mostly use these to store fresh ingredients like fruit that would typically go bad very quickly. It helps them last longer. Also good for homemade condiments. I haven't had much of a problem putting them in the dishwasher, I would just recommend taking the metal parts out as soon as you can once the cycle is over to avoid rust.

Everything came intact, using them for homemade yogurt and loving them. The extra caps are very handy! Two months later: Have used them weekly for yogurt and made preserves as well, they're holding up perfectly. I've been cleaning them in my dishwasher (top shelf), no problem with lids warping. Couldn't be more pleased. Would recommend!

Format is nice, I wish we could order those without the metal lid that I never use. Two cracked when eating soup in the microwave, but the seller offered good support. Perfect for standing veggies to conserve for a while.
