I have a semihollow body guitar. The pots were the mini metric size, i wanted to convert to CTS pots. Its a nightmare fishing out the wiring harness. I saw a tip on You tube to use this surgical hose to press over the knob shaft and so i did all four pots fishing the hoses that were going thru the body. I was able to replace the pots and using the hose( still through the body holes) and easily worked them through the holes back to their respective hole

There a bit tight when useing for springs on telecaster pickup screws but good n screws don't fall out...

The tubing is of appropriate wall thickness and diameter to use for my needs.I have purchased a thinner tube from Amazon that did not hold up well, this brand does and I will keep buying it!The price is better than buying it from a medical supply store.

I used it to clamp items together while bedding/glue set. Worked as needed for that task.
