Very strong ball stud. nice finish and machining, can"t go wrong with these. A little bit pricey but it shows in the quality of this product.

I bought these to replace a broken ball stud on an A.R.E. tonneau cover on my 2004 Chevy Silverado. The original stud was welded to the strut and has snapped off after some unexpected lateral force while replacing the cover. The original manufacturer wanted a hefty sum to replace the entire strut and hydraulic arm assembly -- no option to just fix/replace the broken part. These 10mm ball studs were a near perfect fit. I did have to bore out the hole in the strut a bit, but after that it was a perfect fit. A quick trip to my local big box store for a 5/16"-18 lock nut, and I was in business.

This product worked well. With the exception of no nut to fasten the stud. Overall has been holding up well on my truck tool box lid. Thank you

Easy to install (doesn't come with the nut but I just used a washer and nylon lined lock nut. Sturdy as can be. I'lll see how they hold up, as this is for my hood and rust may be an issue over time.

At first appearance, these look absolutely beautiful, the machine work is great. However, after installing one and getting the lift support installed, it broke the first time. Needless to say, wasn't very happy. Fortunately I had gotten two, so I replaced it with the second one. So far it is holding up, but only time will tell. Only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the second one seems to be good. Maybe I just got a bad one, but isn't worth the hassle to send back since one is working. I had gotten two so I would have an extra for any future projects.
