Using this with a Mac Mini. I had problems with the HDMI connection, and switching to this cable seems to have solved them all. No more flickering, a more stable connection, no problems with the monitor switching resolutions. I'd highly recommend this to anyone using a Mac Mini or Macbook with a monitor.More details if you want them: I'm using a 34-inch 1440p ultrawide monitor, and Macs don't really like 2k resolutions, so you have to use a workaround (a program called Better Dummy). With the workaround, you get the resolution you want, but for me, if I connect over HDMI (a) it would flicker sometimes and (b) when restarting or waking up after sleep, it would sometimes drop the right settings and go back to a default that didn't look very good, and I'd have to set it up again. Both of those problems stopped when I switched to the USB-C to Displayport cable. All good now, much less fiddling around.

This cable replaces an older cable and works much better. I use Macbook Pro with two external monitors. When waking from sleep with the older cable, the Mac frequently had problems with screens flashing. I sometimes had to disconnect all screens and fiddle around to get things to work correctly. Occasionally, the screen with the older cable would flash, or the cable would lose connection at the monitor end, even though it had a display port lock. The new cable works flawlessly and never flashes or loses connection, even though it has no display port lock. Maybe a better quality connector needs no lock to work well. The cable seems really well-made.

I’ve ordered two sets of these cables now and they just don’t want to work. At first I thought it was my device but then I connected them to known working devices and, nope, none of these cables detect. Complete waste of money. I used to like this company but now I see how cheaply they make things.

I brought this to to replace my dock's HDMI out that was only getting me 60hz.I was sceptical if it would work as no one seemed to know so I took a gamble...YES It works DP 1.4 @ 144hz @ 3840x1080

Ich hatte schon seit einiger Zeit das Problem, dass ich mein MacBook Pro mit M1 Pro-Chip nicht ohne Qualitätsverlust an einen Monitor anschließen konnte, der nicht von Apple stammt. Anfangs habe ich den integrierten HDMI-Port verwendet, aber soweit ich weiß, verfügt das MacBook nur über einen HDMI 2.0-Anschluss, was bei Geräten, die eine bessere Bildqualität bieten können, nicht ideal ist.Deshalb bin ich auf ein USB-C auf DisplayPort-Kabel umgestiegen, und ich muss sagen, es hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Sofort konnte ich von 80 auf 144 Hz wechseln, und die Reaktionszeit, um mein MacBook aus dem Ruhezustand zu wecken, ist ebenfalls merklich schneller geworden. Das Kabel selbst ist von hoher Qualität, robust und sorgt für eine stabile Verbindung. Der beigefügte Klettverschluss ist eine nette Zugabe. Insgesamt hinterlässt das Kabel einen ausgezeichneten Eindruck, und ich kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
