So far so good. Was hesitant since there weren't any reviews yet, but decided to take a chance and it works as advertised. Tested it on my PS5 and Xbox Series X and all the settings show that everything works. Auto switch works perfectly, tested it various ways and I have both consoles set to switch to their designated inputs when I'm using an app on my TV. The device is small and you can either power it through HDMI or use the provided micro USB (which I had to use to fit how I wanted to use it). Will be testing various games soon, and I'll update again if anything changes.Update: Figured out why autoswitch wouldn't work after turning my TV on and off, it was because I had the USB cable plugged directly into the TV. Now that it's plugged into an outlet, problem solved. For consoles, have CEC/Device Link options turned on for both with the options to turn connected devices off when TV turns off unchecked/disabled.

I was searching for a HDMI switch that would allow me to plug in more than one 4K device to my LG Soundbar. This allowed me to watch 4K on my OLED and still have Atmos on the soundbar via ARC. While also being able to use a blu-ray player, Xbox One and PS4 without switching cords and have 4K/Atmos through the soundbar and to the TV over ARC.Pros:-easy to setup and generally works very well.Cons:-remote is cheap.-doesnΓ’β¬β’t always auto switch, IΓ’β¬β’ve had to get up and make it auto switch-doesnΓ’β¬β’t Γ’β¬ΛalwaysΓ’β¬β’ work correctly.IΓ’β¬β’ve had no issues 95% of the time. But with my Xbox I get a weird issue (3 separate times) where I turned on my Xbox and it couldnΓ’β¬β’t figure out my TV screen. It defaulted to 480i and said nothing was supported and was 4:3 with black bars and green lines all across the screen. Unplugging the switch fixed the issue and it reboots quickly so it wasnΓ’β¬β’t a big deal but it was a minor annoyance. For the $20 whatever dollars it does what it says and it works. Worth it purchase for the ease of not switching an HDMI cord every single time I want to change devices.

This hdmi switch works good . I like it compared to the vettaguard . I wouldΓ’β¬β’ve given it 5 stars . If they had added a power supply or longer usb2.0 to Dc 5.5 mm cable . The one included was too short for my entertainment center . I also notice it shows the Xbox one s and ps4 pro pics beautifully . But the ps4 pro pic went black for a brief second twice . So I decided to use it with my nvidia sheild and Xbox one s instead . IΓ’β¬β’ve decided to contact j tech in regards to the issue with the ps4 pro . But I still recommend it . Γ°ΕΈβΒΓ°ΕΈΒΒΎΓ°ΕΈβΒΓ°ΕΈΒΒΎ I received a replace and i have to update my rating to five stars . After i spoke to a rep . I was told to send it back and i would receive a replacement which came quick . The other one was defective . But i am happy with the replacement . Thank you J TECH . 5 STARS ALL THE WAY !

My LCD (LG 65UJ63) only has two effective HDMI inputs, making a switcher essential. There are a number of devices available that cap 4K input to 30 FPS, leading to a number of disappointed customers. This device support 4K with HDR at 60 FPS. I have connected a Sony Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Wii U, and the device switches between them effortlesslyΓ’β¬βat least it did when I first bought it.Today, a new Roku Ultra has required me to move things around, and that's when all by troubles began. My Sony UBP-X800 4K disc player is not automatically recognized by the J-Tech switch. When connected, I have to manually switch to the proper input. It may be that automatic switching has gone out after a year of limited use. I'm not about to test the video game consoles to find out if automatic switching still works for them. I don't play video games, so I don't care.My Roku Ultra is not automatically recognized by the J-Tech switch. Matter of fact, the Roku Ultra will not work at all when connected to this switchΓ’β¬βit has to be directly connected to the television (LG 65UJ63). I understand that the Roku Ultra is "always on" and has no power switch, per se. The power button atop the Roku remote is for the televisionΓ’β¬βnot the Roku. Such a device may be incompatible with this J-Tech switch.I had reservations when I first bought the switch, but kept them to myself, because the switch seemed to work. Now, I'm less inclined to admire the device. To make the switch physically smaller, HDMI ports were added to the left and right side. Input 1 is on the left, and output HDMI is on the right. This means that the little switch has cables running out to the sides, monopolizing a lot of space to the sides of the unit. This is a horrible design. Every HDMI port should be in the back, period. There is no labeling visible from the top of the unit. To find out what port is what, you have to turn the unit around backwards. This is problematic when anything is connected. So, I paid $50 for an "automatic" switch that only works with game consoles. I would be better off with a mechanical switch, going up to the unit and pressing a physical button to change between inputs.I am beyond disappointed.

This product works exactly as advertised. I had purchased a switcher beforehand that I thought would automatically switch but it needed a button pressed. This one actually does it by itself. I use it for gaming on an xbox series x and for computer use with my mac. After i turn one off I can turn on the other and the hdmi automatically switches. I have it connected to a 4k 60hertz monitor and it has zero lag. Xbox gameplay is exactly the same quality and refresh rate as if it would be plugged in to the back of my monitor. Perfect for monitors with only two hdmi ports or for people who don't want to press buttons to switch. Also it works with the monitors auto-wakeup when hdmi is detected.

Easy to setup, works as expected in 4K.I give 4 star because the provide power cable is very short, had to buy a usb extension cord.
