My son has been learning to juggle and these are great for enhancing hand/eye coordination. The non-slick surface makes them easy to handle and they are much better than the typical multi-colored options.

In terms of construction and materials these are fine. They've held together well, and are easy to grip and toss. However, they're almost an inch larger and a couple ounces heavier than any other juggling balls I have, so they're not easy to incorporate into another set, especially if you're trying to learn how to increase the number of balls you're juggling.

I learned to juggle a few years back but haven’t done it as often as I ought and it’s one of those pastimes that, when you get back to it, you think to yourself: “ Why don’t I do this more often?â€. It’s fun and meditative, yes, you heard me right. I am still a relative beginner though, striving to get to the next level and promising myself to practice more in order to do so.These balls are great! They are a great size, feel and weight and they look good too. I have some quality balls of a similar size but a little more rigid/solid and it took a while after a lay off to get the ‘flow’ back with them. With these, also introduced after a layoff, I took to them and got back into the zone much more quickly. They are somehow easier to toss in a uniform and controllable manner. To the self assessed ‘novice’ reviewer who said these were a bit difficult to control when you are still learning the toss, I can understand that and yet if you persevere a little you’ll be glad you stuck with them because once you get the feel of them you’ll be glad you didn’t switch to balls which might get you only through a short transition before becoming redundant. To those who are new to juggling and are reading this while sitting on the fence and thinking “it seems like learning might take a long time†I was on an unrelated team building course a long time ago during which were each given a set of three bean bags and instructed to practice an hour each evening so that we could do a little juggling act at the end of the five day week. It actually takes only about half of those five hours to get to the stage of thinking ‘wow, this is becoming kinda fun’. The rest is just practice and these balls are as good as any to start a life long enjoyable pastime with. Just don’t cut corners and start with fresh eggs!!I hope you found this information helpful 👇

I decided to do something different this new year. My resolution is to learn how to juggle. From what I've learned before starting is that I need weighted balls to juggle. When I saw this set of 3 juggling bean bag balls, I was both inspired and excited. They are a good size and weight and feel comfortable in my hands. The only issue I encountered is that they seem to shed a little. When the ball hits, some of the mesh fabric comes off. This might clear up after more juggling practice but it's something to know. You need the right tools to do things properly and I think these juggling balls are exactly that.

These were nice, but sadly the beads started falling out after our first (extended, heavy) use.

First, I like that the set of 3 has a cinching mesh bag that they all fit into nicely. Sometimes you buy something and you can never fit it back into the bag after you open it. This bag fit the 3 balls very nicely. It cinches closed at the top so the balls never go sliding out or loose. Also I'm a terrible juggler but these are great to practice with. They have some weight to them, but also are light enough to throw higher. I also feel like the material and fabric is nicely sewn because there are no loose strings and I've dropped them several times and nothing has ripped open.

I am a jugging novice but this is not my first set. Usually the balls are sized so that you can have 2 balls in one hand that you are throwing at once in that hand, then a third (or more) in the other hand, and alternating between them is the trick of juggling.Just based on the size (I am a 6' adult with large hands) these balls are kind of large. I wouldn't say they are good to gift for a child with smaller hands who is learning to juggle, since they are large and heavy enough to be difficult to learn on if someone with smaller hands and lesser grip strength is trying to go from one ball in each hand (step 1 of juggling) to 2 balls in one hand and one in the third (step 2 i.e. actual juggling).I am going to try it as a stocking stuffer anyway with my fingers crossed that this doesn't turn out to be too large, such that a novice would be frustrated and give up.Otherwise, the carry-sack seems to do the job well enough. The balls themselves have sand or similar material inside and have enough weight to them to help develop control and muscle memory, and the outside material/jersey is soft but has texture for grip.
