I haven't shared this with my son yet but I got it and I've looked through all the pages and all of the different back-and-forth between us and I'm really excited about it and I know that he's going to be really excited about it too and I think this is gonna be a really good way for us to bond I'm glad I bought this book

I purchased the Just Between You and Me Kid Journal in December 2024 for $17 in yellow from SIMSIMY Store. I also picked up a blue one, and both are beautifully designed.What I Like:âœ”ï¸ Well thought out design with interactive writing prompts that foster communication between kids and adults.âœ”ï¸ A wonderful way to build a bond and share memories together.âœ”ï¸ Great price for the quality and concept.What I Don’t Like:⌠Nothing to complain about—I’m really happy with these journals.Overall Recommendation:This journal is a fantastic gift and a great bonding tool for parents and kids. This journal is a wonderful way to bond with your child. The prompts are thoughtful and engaging, encouraging meaningful conversations and shared memories. It’s well-made, and the dark green cover is beautiful. A great gift for parents and kids to strengthen their relationship.

I love this idea to create meaningful conversations and bonding for my son (8) and his dad! They sometimes struggle to express themselves, and they liked the idea of passing this back and forth (sort of like secret notes). I did flip through the blank notebook and there ARE some hard questions, so be warned (think "Do you believe in God, why or why not?), but most are fun and light hearted like "draw a picture of the other person" or "what did you want to be when you grew up/what do you want to be when you grow up" types of things. The journal itself is quite nice, it's got a heavy duty cover (some sort of soft synthetic leather feeling material) and the pages are nice and thick (and say they're bleed resistant though I haven't seen that tested out yet with more than just pen).

This is an awesome gift for a child that you wish to create a meaningful ritual with. Children love to have those little special things that are just between two peopleMy little granddaughter has a brand-new baby brother and this will give her and me a chance to have our special moments that are only ours. Since we already have a bond over creative things, this will be a lovely addition to that.The only thing is that I can see this becoming such a big thing that I had better start looking for the next one! She won't want to stop once we get started.
