This bookshelf is adorable and works perfectly for our grandson's board books. We have it in our family room. He loves to crawl/toddle over to the bookshelf to hand me books to read to him. Sometimes, before I know it, my arms are loaded with books. We place about 5-6 books of varying sizes in it for him, storing the rest away. He loves to sift through the books.We've only had it for a week now, so I can't say how long it will stay nice and strong. But it is pretty solid!I almost gave this 4 stars because the first bookshelf we purchased only had 3 legs in it. But that could have been from the Amazon end of things.

Sent the wrong saying on the front, but i decided to put it together anyway. Once assembled i went to attach the legs and they did not fit the pre drilled holes, which had the screw threaded hardware imbedded. Had to return it.
